Roy Everett Allen, 64, of Borden, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022. Roy was known for being an exceptional cook.
He was born on November 24, 1957, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late Raymond and Charlotte (Stoner) Allen.
Roy is survived by his son, Greg (Amanda) Dennis; brothers, Gary J. Allen and Robert R. Allen; nephews, Joshua D. Allen and Brandon C. Allen; aunts, Mabel Balmer and Linda Stoner; two granddaughters; and extended family and friends.
Cremation was chosen by the family in honor of Roy's wishes, and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions-New Albany was entrusted with his care. A gathering will be held on August 28, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Borden Community Park (100 E. Main Street, Borden, IN 47106). The gathering will take place in the shelter house located nearest to the baseball fields.
