Rosemary Kay Salsman, 60, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2011, from Multiple Myeloma.
Rosemary was born July 13, 1950 in Mount Vernon, OH to William and Mona Jean (Bell) Cherryholmes. She was a 1968 graduate of Fredericktown H.S. and a graduate of Morehead State University in KY. She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her children, Danielle (Jeff) Halbleib of Cincinnati, OH, and Chris (Grace) and Bryan Salsman both of Louisville, and delighted in her granddaughter, Makayla Halbleib; her mother, Jeanne Cherryholmes of Fruitland Park, FL; one sister, Diana (Dennis) Blackford-McKinster of Carroll, OH, and brothers, Mike (Trina) Cherryholmes and Joe (Marsha) Cherryholmes, both of Fredericktown, OH.
Rosemary had a great love for God and her family. She enjoyed needlework, beading, and reading. Her optimism and cheerfulness was never-ending. She was a member of Saint Barnabas Parish and the Embroiderer's Guild of America.
A Mass of Celebration will be 10am Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 3042 Hikes Lane with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be Monday 4-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society.
