Rosemary Cloe

Rosemary Sherrard Cloe, 86, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022. Rosemary was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church, and she enjoyed going to the living Rosary every year. She enjoyed spending time in the outdoors going camping and just sitting outside. Rosemary loved her animals and taking care of them. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend to so many. Rosemary worked for the Phone Company where she retired after many years. After retirement she worked for a daycare center for 13 years. Rosemary will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was born on May 9, 1936 in Louisville, KY. She is preceded in death by her Husband, James B. Cloe, Mother, Edna Downs, Father, Roy Downs, Great-Grandchild, Olivia Brainer, and Brother-In-Law, Grover Gaddie

Rosemary is survived by her Son, Tony (Nettie) Cloe, Daughter, Suzi Hester (John Carpenter), Sisters, Carolyn Stephens, Linda Gaddie, and Sandra Collins, Grandchildren, Ashlyn Cloe (Wayne Sproul), Alex Cloe (Katherine Roberts), Christina (Steven) Brainer, Amanda Wienczkowski, and Kayla (Michael) Salmon, Great-Grandchildren, Asher and Jameson Brainer, Olivia & Macie Sproul. Rosemary also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Friends and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, at Incarnation Catholic Church (2229 Lowers Hunters Trace) with burial to follow at St Michael's Catholic Cemetery.
