Rose Skidmore

Rose Skidmore, 55, of Louisville, KY, passed away on March 21, 2023. Her family was her world, especially her grandson, Zander. Rose loved going to the beach and listening to her favorite hits of the 70's and 80's. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her friends. Everywhere Rose worked her co-workers always became her family. Rose looked forward to decorating her home for every holiday. She will be truly missed, but will always forever live in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Hickman.

Rose leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Kristin (Arturo) Alfonso and Noah Anderson; Grandson, Zander Alfonso; siblings, DeAnna Green, Karin (Tony) Case and Kevin (Missy) Jacobs; father, Warren Hickman; nieces and nephews, Jessica Richardson, Brittany (Travis Smith) Case, Emily (Scott) Armstrong, Michaela (Daniel) Metcalf, Josh Case, Karissa Jacobs and Teyton Jacobs; great-nieces; great-nephews; fur baby, Bernie and many friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 1pm-8pm. A celebration of Rose's life will be Monday, March 27, 2023, beginning at 10am at the funeral home.

Rose will be laid to rest at Resthaven Cemetery, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY, 40218.
