Rose Marie Douglas

Rose Marie Douglas, 81, of Louisville, KY, passed away on June 13, 2024. She enjoyed bowling, softball and volleyball. Rose was outgoing and had a bubbly personality. She loved talking on the phone and hanging out with her friends at McDonalds. Her family meant the world to her and Rose will be truly missed, but she will forever live in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Douglas; parents, George And Mary Amback and granddaughter, Brittany Douglas.

Rose leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Darlene (Terry White) Roth and Tony (Tarita) Douglas; grandchildren, Daniel Toma, Leah Sexton and Jeremy Toma; great-granddaughter, Brianna and Layla; sisters, Rita Wientjes and Ruth Cheshire; nieces, Rhonda McMillen, Susan Hill and Sherilyn Longaker; nephews, Tim Hill, Sean Murphy and Todd Murphy and numerous friends.

Visitation will be Friday, July 12. 2024, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 3pm-8pm.  A celebration of Rose's life will be Saturday, July 13, 2024, beginning at 10am at the funeral home.

Rose will be laid to rest at Bethany Cemetery.
