Rose Carmen Brewer

Rose Carmen (Lugo) Brewer, age 94, passed away on December 13, 2023. She is preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Lewis. She is survived by her children, Vickie (Rick), Lois (Bill), Clayton (Sandy), and Larry (Pam); her grandchildren, Ricky, Raegan (Kevin), Saraya (Jonathan) and Jared (Brandy); her brother Isaac (Celia); Sister Sarah; and six great-grandchildren.

Born in New York City, Rose was a devoted mother, wife and grandmother. She was passionate about family, travel, her dogs, and community service.

Donations to the Lexington Humane Society, in lieu of flowers.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive) from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a funeral service to begin at 2:00 PM. Burial will take place at Simpsonville Masonic Cemetery in Simpsonville, KY.
