Roscoe Fears

Roscoe Fears, 83, of Greenville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022. Roscoe was a member of the Greenville Optimist Club for over 20 years and a faithful member of St. Mary Navilleton Catholic Church. He worked for LG&E for 41 years until his retirement in 1998.

He was born on August 7, 1939, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Roscoe and Alma (Morton) Fears. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Stephen Mark Fears; brother, Larry Fears; and sister, Patricia Hughes.

Roscoe is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Bonnie Fears; sons, Michael Fears and Damian Fears; grandchildren, Aden Fears, Ashley Fears, and Brandon House; and great-grandchild, Renn Fears.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at St. Mary Navilleton Catholic Church (7500 Navilleton Road, Floyds Knobs, Indiana) with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
