Rosalie Anne Koenig, 78, of Nabb, Indiana, formerly of Cazenovia, New York, passed peacefully on to the Lord on Friday, July 4, 2014. She grew up in Valley Stream on Long Island and was a graduate of SUNY at Oswego, New York. Rosalie was a retired teacher and the former owner of Historic House Gallery in Tupper Lake, New York. She was an artist that was incredibly talented with embroidery and tapestry work. Most importantly, Rosalie was a devout, Bible-believing Christian who faithfully shared her testimony with others.
Rosalie was born in Queens, New York, on June 25, 1936 to the late William M. and Rosalie M. (Kurtz) Koenig. She was also preceded in death by her brother, William R. Koenig; and granddaughter, Jillian R. Charlet.
She is survived by her children, Kimberly A. McFadden (Michael, Sr.), Kirk M. Beswick (Susan), Koreen T. Waz (Daniel); grandchildren, Kiera Charlet, Brandon Beswick (Tiffany), Colin Beswick (Cassie), Selena Beswick, Kaitlyn Waz; and great-grandsons, Michael and Gabriel Beswick.
Visitation will be from 10 AM to 12 PM on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). Her Funeral Service will be at Noon Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Charlestown Cemetery in Charlestown, Indiana.
