Ronnie C. Vaughn

Ronnie C. Vaughn, age 81 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at home surrounded by those who loved him. Ronnie was born December 16, 1941 to the late Howard and Thelma Miller Vaughn. He was an avid golfer and horse racing, especially at Churchill Downs. He also loved vacations with his family to Florida. He retired from K&I Lumber in 2001, and was formerly employed with Barn Sash and Door. In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie D. Vaughn.

Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Joyce; sons, Mark (Roxanne) and Kevin; daughter, Kelly Mills (Clyde); 9 grandchildren, Ronnie, Cassie, Corey, Morgan, Tyler, Zachary, Alexandra, Veronica and Samantha; 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 4 to 7pm on Monday, July 31, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY. A graveside service will be 11am Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Crosswater Gardens, 7110 Billtown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40299.
