Ronnie Lee Cobb, Sr., 86, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021. He served in the National Guard and was a retired printer.
He was born on July 9, 1935, in Floyd County, Indiana, to Floyd, Sr., and Floriene (Juliot) Cobb. In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his wife, Janalene (Lee) Cobb; son, Ronnie Cobb, Jr.; and brothers, Floyd "Junior" and Bill Cobb.
Ronnie is survived by his children, Connie Brooks (Joe), Shirley Bezy (Bob), Elizabeth "Kay" Collins, Rickie Cobb (Lisa), Ryan Cobb (Tammy), and Patricia "Packy" Bratcher (Lonnie); sister, Linda Smith (Steve); 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen according to Ronnie's wishes, and no memorial service will be held per his request. Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with his care.
