Ronald Edward Warner, 71, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, February 7, 2025. Born on June 28, 1953, in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the son of Charles and Lucille (Murray) Warner. Ronald proudly served in the Army National Guard and was a retiree from Sears Automotive. Known for his unwavering faith, he lived by a principle of placing God first in all aspects of his life. His strong belief system provided him with strength and comfort, guiding him through life's challenges.
Ron had an especially profound love for animals, particularly for his beloved fur babies, Bella and Abbey. They brought him joy and companionship, enriching his daily life with their affection. He is survived by his lifelong partner, Terry Patterson; his friends, Tammy and Jeff Mills, Darren and Rica, Rachel and Scott, Adam and Michelle, Cindy, Rosanne, and Vanessa.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the entire Hosparus staff for the loving care and support provided to Ron over the last three years. Their compassion made a significant difference during a challenging time.
A memorial service celebrating Ron's life will be announced at a later date. Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions in New Albany has been entrusted with his care. Contributions in Ron's memory may be made to Terry Patterson in care of the funeral home.
