Ronald L. Skaggs

Ronald Skaggs, age 77 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024. He was born on May 29, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late George and Minnie Skaggs. Ron graduated from PRP High School and retired from the corrugated cardboard box manufacturing industry. Ron was an avid UK fan and loved hunting and golfing. In addition to his parents, Ron is preceded in death by his brother, Troy Skaggs; and his sister, Emma Lorine Garrett.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of almost 32 years, Patty Bewley Skaggs; sons, Steven Skaggs (Alice) and Michael Skaggs (Patricia); daughter, Stephanie Layton; grandchildren, Nina Goggin (Jeremy), Allison Lutz (Lee), Morgan Barnes, Corey, Mackenzie, Veronica, June and Jordan; great-grandchildren, Tucker, Liam, Tate and Samarah; nephew, Chris Skaggs (Sara); brother-in-law, Druie Garrett; sister-in-law, Bonny Bewley; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 12pm to 2pm on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Chapel in the Woods 1407 Moser Rd, Louisville, KY 40299, followed by a celebration of Ron's life at 2pm.
