Ronald Wayne Sheehan

April 27, 1945 — December 12, 2022

Ronald Wayne Sheehan, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022. Ronald was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He had a special bond with his twin brother, Donald, during their 77 years together. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and retired as a master sergeant. Ronald then went on to work for the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier and retired after 34 years of service. He had a passion for bowling and the family that he created within his leagues and with his friends at Valley View Church. Ronald enjoyed expanding his large collection of music. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on April 27, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky to Michael and Ann (Hurley) Sheehan. He is preceded in death by his father, Michael W. Sheehan, Jr.; mother, Anne Gahafer; daughter, Gina L. Sheehan; granddaughter, Beth Sheehan; sister, Janet Schetler; and brother, Terry Gahafter;

Ronald is survived by his loving family, sons, Michael R. (Nicki) Sheehan, Aaron L. Sheehan, Glenn M. (Susan) Sheehan; brother, Donald W. Sheehan; sister, Joyce Mialback; grandchildren, Natalie Sheehan, Allison Sheehan, Michael Johnson, Skylar Sheehan, Edward (Autumn) Sheehan, Kelsea Sheehan, Rebecca Sheehan; great-grandchildren, Delilah Sheehan, Lovelyn Sheehan, Brandon White, Hannah White, Step-Son, Craig Greer, best friend, Debbie Warwick; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky.
