Ronald John Rodewig

Ronald John Rodewig, 65, of Greenville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023. He was an avid collector of Harley-Davidson memorabilia and liked listening to country music. Ron was a big history buff, enjoyed gardening and also watching sports, especially football and basketball.

He was born on May 14, 1957, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Henry and Betty (Cook) Rodewig. Ron is survived by his wife, Arlene (Thompson) Rodewig; children, Cindy Hemmelgarn (Ted) and Josh Bailey (Sen Yao); grandchildren, Peyton Randolph, Aidan Bailey, Blake Hemmelgarn, and Mia Hemmelgarn; and sister, Debbie.

Ron's wish was to be cremated, and a reception of family and friends will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a memorial service taking place at 1:30 p.m.
