Ronald Nicholson, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on September 24, 2016. He was a loving father, husband and grandfather. Ron enjoyed gardening, WW II history, and his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes.
Born and raised in Columbus Ohio, Ron had a long and successful career in the banking industry. His banking career took him to Louisville, KY where he would retire and go on to open his own small business.
Ron was born on March 6, 1938, Columbus, Ohio to the late Herbert and Rita (Lawles) Nicholson. He was also preceded in death by his son Kenneth Nicholson; brother, Herbert Nicholson Jr.
Ron is survived by his wife, Jacqueline (Mullins) Nicholson; daughter, Shawn (Tyler) Burke; grandsons, Owen and Benjamin Burke; brother, Gary (Susan) Nicholson; K-9 Companion, Murphy.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the funeral ceremony at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, Kentucky 40243).
