Ronald E. Lee, a dedicated truck driver and veteran, passed away peacefully on October 26 2024, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, at the age of 75. He was born on November 11, 1948, in New Albany, Indiana, and lived a life marked by service and passion. Ronald proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army, further continuing his commitment by reenlisting in the United States Navy.
After his time in the military, Ronald worked diligently as a truck driver, a career that he embraced with pride for most of his life. He was well-known for his love of classic cars and airplanes, interests that reflected his adventurous spirit.
Ronald is remembered fondly by his daughters, Martha Lee and Mindy Lee, who carry forward his legacy. He was also a proud member of the VFW Post 3281.
He is reunited in spirit with his beloved parents, Norman and Lottie Imogene Lee, his daughter Wanda Caswell, his son Ronald E. Lee, and his brother James Lee. Their memories live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A visitation will take place on November 1, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM, both at the Newcomer Funeral Home in Southern Indiana, located at 3309 Ballard Ln., New Albany, IN 47150. Ronald's family invites all who knew him to come together to celebrate his life and reflect on the memories that brought joy to their hearts.
