Ronald Johnson Sr.

Ronald Johnson Sr., 60, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022. Ronald was a history buff who collected coins and comic books throughout his life. He loved football, especially watching Ohio State football and the Cincinnati Bengals play. Ronald was enlisted in the United States Army Reserve for nearly 20 years and, among other posts, served honorably during Operation Desert Storm in the armored tank division.

He was born on August 5, 1962 in Fort Riley, Kansas to Roy and Peggy (Harris) Johnson. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Katie Nicole Todd; and his father, Roy James Johnson, Sr.

Ronald is survived by his mother, Peggy Elaine Johnson; daughter, Nicole (Michael) Brown; daughter, Brianna Johnson; son, Ronald (Hannah) Johnson, Jr.; son, Trey Johnson; his brother, Roy James (Tammy) Johnson, Jr.; his sister, Rose Johnson; his grandchildren, Amari Brown; Gabriella Brown; Isabella Hernandez; and Ronald Edward Johnson; his girlfriend, Ashlee Cornett; and a host of extended family and friends.

Cremation was chosen and there will be no services at this time.
