Ronald W. Jackson, Sr., 72, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023. Ronald was known for his love of playing and listening to music.
He was born on August 5, 1950, in Louisville, Kentucky, to William and Edna (Snider) Jackson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sons, Ronald Wayne Jackson, Jr., and Samuel Lee Jackson.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Jackson; daughters, Robin Lea (Mike) Schermerhorn and Emily Michelle (Michael) O'Guin; grandchildren, Nicholas, Brent, Kaylea, Evie, and Liam; and sisters, Janice Jackson and Patricia (Charles) Quail.
Cremation was chosen in honor of Ronald's wishes. A memorial gathering will take place on Friday, May 12, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany).
