Ronald Lynn Hubert

Ronald Lynn Hubert, 64, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022. He was a United States Navy veteran and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

He was born on May 26, 1958, in New Albany, Indiana, to Pearl (Bryant) Hubert and the late Charles Hubert. In addition to his father, Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Chuck Hubert.

Along with his mother, Ron is survived by his children, Phillip Hubert (Tracy), Jeremy Hubert (Shaunna), and Katie Duncan (Gene); grandchildren, Phillip II (Kaelee), Whitney, Alexavier, Alexis, Joshua, Jeremy II, Jasmine, Isabella, Destiny, Samuel, Brett, and Layla; brothers, Donnie, Raymond, Jack (David), and Marty Hubert; sisters, Charlene Hubert, Darlene Bennett, and Marlena Hubert; sister-in-law, Jolanda Hubert; former wife, Julia Hubert; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Saturday after 9:00 a.m. His funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church (312 E. High Street, Corydon) with burial and military honors to follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ron's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
