Ronald E. Haynes, 64, passed away on February 28, 2012 in New Albany. A loving husband, father, and papa, Ron was an avid U of L Cardinal fan and an AA member.
Ron was born on December 6, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Roy and Jewel (Gibbs) Haynes.
He is survived by his wife, Jerry E. (Denkler) Haynes; stepchildren, Michelle Morrison, Toni Meade, Kelly Cook (Becky), and Michael Cook; sisters, Mary Cane, Shirley Rice, and Marilyn Adkins; aunt, Pat Blanforb; 11 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM on Friday, March 2, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Saturday at the funeral home followed by burial at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
Memorial contributions may be made to Jerry Haynes for the family in care of Newcomer Funeral Home.
