Lay, Ronald A. Jr, 58, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on March 9, 2014. He was born on March 20, 1955 in Quantico, VA.
Ron served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War on the USS Orikany CVA-34, and USS Franklin D. Roosevelt CV-42.
He worked for Williams Lea Inc, and was a member of Highland Community Church.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 13 years Loretta Maynard-Lay; children, Renee Hoover (Michael), Kevin A. Maynard, and Samantha Barger; siblings, Robert Lay (Mila), Alisa Jo Martinez (Bobby), Cynthia Lacefield (Tim); grandchildren, Rebecca Summers, Kaleb Hoover, Billy Jones, and Makayla Hoover; father, Ronald A. Lay, Sr.(Nancy), mother, Shirley Lay, and step-mother, Johnnie Lee Paquin (Leon), and many loving nieces and nephews.
Graveside Service will be held Friday at 1:00 pm at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central), in Radcliff, Ky.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made out to the family of Ronald Lay.
