Rogna Wagoner

Rogna Wagoner, 89, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023. Rogna was a teacher for the Jefferson County Public School Systems for most of her teaching career. She enjoyed antiques, history, plants, and reading.

She was born on March 1, 1934, in New Albany, Mississippi, to Delbert and Ollie (Dawson) Wagoner. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Tim Wagoner.

Rogna is survived by her children, Nina (Jarrod) Hedrick and Norman (Tiffany) Norris; grandchildren, Ava, Brook, Quinton, Anna, and Devlin and one on the way; great-grandchild, Evie; sister, Janeva Craig; and brother, James Wagoner.

Visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at the funeral home.

The family requests that contributions in Rogna's memory be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
