Roger P. Jones

Roger P. Jones, aged 65, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 17, 2024. Born on August 1, 1959, he made his mark in the world as a beloved, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Roger was the cherished son of the late Oscar and Ida Mae (Tuttle) Jones. He was preceded in death by his dear sister and two brothers, whose memories he held close throughout his life.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 40 years, Lynn Jones, whose companionship brought him immense joy. Together, they nurtured a beautiful family that includes their son, Justin Michael Jones, and daughter, Nicole Buege, along with three adoring grandchildren: Sarah Catherine Jones, Logan Buege, and Brinley Jones. Roger is also survived by his brother, Larry Wayne Jones, and an extended family who will miss him deeply.

Roger was the definition of a family man. He treasured every moment spent with Lynn and delighted in creating lasting memories with his children and grandchildren. His dedication to hard work was evident in his illustrious career as a certified master installer, where he showcased his exceptional skills in glass replacement and upholstery, earning the respect and admiration of many in his community.

Possessing a warm and generous spirit, Roger never met a stranger. His ability to connect with others left a lasting impact and touched countless lives. His legacy of kindness, laughter, and love will continue to inspire those who knew him.
