Roger Dale Britt, 60, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2011. He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church and an avid University of Kentucky fan.
Roger was born on October 24, 1950 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Burley and Julia (Abbott) Britt. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Everette L. Mounce and Alice Bullard.
He is survived by his children, Julie and J.R. Britt; siblings, Pearl Stout, Lois Ables (Kenny), Julia McDonald, Brenda Bowles (Virgil), Patty Whitaker (Bob); and granddaughter, Lauren.
Visitation will be from 2 PM to 8 PM on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 12 PM on Monday, September 19, in the Paul F. Kraft, Sr. Memorial Chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus – the Hospice Community of Southern Indiana (624 E. Market Street, New Albany, IN 47150).
