Roderick Lee Knight

Roderick Knight was born September 14, 1967 in Louisville, KY. He departed this life for eternal rest on Sunday, March 30, 2014. Roderick attended Male High School and graduated from Eastern High School, class of 1986. He was a basketball standout. He attended Sullivan Junior College as a student athlete. Roderick was employed at Bill Etscorn Automotive for a few years and also Kroger Distribution. Through 19 years of dialysis treatments and centers Roderick made many friends.

He was preceded in death by his biological father, Robert Cheshier "Bubba", Jr.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Sherrod Knight; grandson, Kamarih Knight; parents, Delores Hale Williams (Arthur) Knight; sisters, Michelle and Maria Trowell Knight; brothers, Aaron and Cedric (Brittany) Knight; aunt, Margaret Cheshier (Harry) Tucker and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, April 7, 2014 from 12pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) and Tuesday, April 8, 2014 visitation from 9am-1pm with funeral services beginning at 1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel.

Interment will be at Louisville Cemetery 1339 Poplar Level Road, Louisville, KY.
