Roddy Henderson

Roddy Henderson, 27, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022. He was born on May 7, 1995, in Dumas, Texas. Roddy was always full of life and energy. It was hard to be anything but happy when he was around. Roddy knew everyone and was always willing to give to someone in need. He enjoyed trivia, loved to sing, and was never shy when he was put in front of a camera.

Roddy is survived by his loving mother, Ellen (Jay) Tutt; grandmother, Priscilla (Gary) Davidson; siblings, Hersha (DeWayne) Bolton, Erica Martinez, Tito Martinez, Jacobi (Alyssia) Henderson, and Jamar (Faith) Tutt; nieces and nephews, Tracia, Brice, Mary, Falco, Mathyus, Tadashi, and Oaklyn. He is preceded in death by his father, Rodney D. Henderson; and nephew, Aedan.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
