Robin A. Jergens, 63, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on September 13, 2022.
She was the second child of Tom and June Rogers of Erie, Pennsylvania, born on August 18, 1959.
Robin is survived by her husband of 40 years, Dan Jergens; daughter, Danielle Allen (Christopher); grandchildren, Olivia and Samuel Allen; and brother, Kris Rogers.
Robin was a woman of Christ and was a wonderful, devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
Robin's career as a registered nurse spanned thirty years, including service in the U.S. Army, the Red Cross, intensive care and burn care, and community and school nursing. She added four more years of fixing boo-boos and tears for Olivia and Sam and dispensing sage medical advise to their mom, Danielle.
Robin cherished all her sisters-in-Christ. Their communal prayers, bible studies, and deep, caring friendships were a a huge part of her life. While she attended many churches through her life, she was never a stranger, quickly joined in to praising the glory of God and his people.
Robin enjoyed creating beautiful clothing and embroidered fabrics. She was always certain she could sew or knit something for less than buying it. Her considerable skills enabled her to become a certified Master of Clothing instructor for the Kentucky extension service.
Rest in heaven where your joy is complete.
