Robert Earl Wilbourn "Bob"

Wilbourn, Robert E. "Bob", 87, husband of Bernadette "Bernie" Johnson, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023.

Born March 1, 1936, he was the son of the late Fewell and Mabel Wilbourn. Bob was a graduate of Bellarmine University.

He was a member of Epiphany Catholic Church, and was a retired supervisor from Ford Motor Company, where he worked for over 40 years. Bob was a founding member of Saint Martha Catholic Church and was a Navy Veteran.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, James and Donald Wilbourn, and son-in-law, Steve Dunaway.

Other than his wife, he leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Karen Dunaway, Mary Thompson (Glenn); Mike Wilbourn (Lynda), Patti McCooe (Tim), and Maura Wilbourn; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and his brother, Harold Wilbourn.

Visitation will be 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Epiphany Catholic Church, 914 Old Harrods Creek Rd. A funeral mass will follow at 11:00 AM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Epiphany Catholic Church.
