Robert Totten, age 87 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Robert was born February 15, 1925 in Louisville to the late George and Daisy Totten. Robert was a proud World War II veteran, serving his country in the Army. He was a volunteer firefighter in Lyndon and surrounding area. He spent his career as a painting contractor.
Robert is survived by his first love, Katherine Totten; six children, Robert Totten Jr., John Totten, Kathy Bailey, Larry Totten, Linda Eddy, and Nancy Winsor; ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Ben Totten; sister, Ruby Vogth; the Emergency Services community; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Robert's funeral will be 1pm Friday, February 8, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243, with visitation from 10am until time of service. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington, KY.
