Robert Ely Talley Iii

Robert Ely "Bud" Talley, III, age 73 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023. Bud was known for his love of horse racing, restoring antique furniture and growing the best home grown tomatoes. He was an electrician and a remodeler and was spoken highly of by all of his customers. He also loved spending time with his wife and daughter watching UK basketball games. He was loved by so many. Bud was preceded in death by his father, Robert Ely Talley Jr; and his mother, Juanita Lurline Raisor.

Here to carry on his memory are his spouse of 25 years, Sheila Ann Talley; three daughters, Stefanie (Kenny) Talley, Jennifer (Thomas), Katherine (Kodi) Talley; two grandchildren, Nicholas Young, and London Thomas; five brothers and one sister, Mark Talley, Mark Wadsworth, Bradley Talley, Jeffrey Talley, Todd Wadsworth and Teresa Parrish; his favorite dog, Gracie May; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 pm on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243. A celebration of Bud's life will be there at the funeral home on Friday, February 24th at 11am, followed by interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
