Robert Louis Streble

October 27, 1938 — April 14, 2023

Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Robert Louis Streble of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on April 14, 2023 at the age of 84. He was born in Meade County, Kentucky to the late Adam Dewey and Mattie Streble.

Robert graduated from Valley High School in Louisville, Kentucky. He served in the United States Air Force on the island of Crete and the state of Nebraska, where he met and married his wife, Ann, on July 10, 1965. After his time in the Air Force was completed, the couple moved back to Kentucky. Robert then began his 38 year career of repairing every thing from mechanical calculators to digital copy machines. Robert and Ann were blessed with two children and five grandchildren. He was a member of Harvest Baptist Church. Robert enjoyed going on walks, mowing his lawn, going on day trips, fishing, wood working, telling jokes, eating doughnuts, and especially spending time with his family.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Ann Marie Streble; his daughter, Cynthia Edwards (Jeffrey) and son, Brian Streble; his grandchildren, Derek Edwards, Courtney Streble, Meredith Edwards, Hailey Streble, and Britney Streble; and 3 siblings, sisters, Rose Abel and Evelyn Streble, and brother, Ken Streble. Family and friends will miss his gentle, caring, humorous, quiet, and optimistic spirit.

There will be a private family celebration of his life and in lieu of flowers the family requests donations in his memory to Alzheimer's Association; 225 N. Michigan Ave. Fl. 417; Chicago, Illinois 60601.
