Robert Joseph Stivers

Robert "Robbie" Stivers, 64, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022.

Robbie was a lifelong Kentucky Wildcats and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. After retiring from the swimming pool business, he was finally able to learn to play guitar. He loved a cold Bud Light and a smooth shot of Woodford Reserve. Most importantly, he loved his family, his many lifelong friends, extended family, and especially his loving wife.

Robbie is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Ann Zehnder and Edward L. Stivers Sr.; his brothers, Jimmy and Michael Stivers, and his dear friends, Jimmy Chancellor and Ronnie Underwood.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Mary Jo; his daughter, Barbi (Aaron) Shields; his step daughter, Kelly (Mitch) McCormick; his stepsons, Derek Anderson, Denny and Patrick Thompson; his grandchildren, Kiersten (Cody) McFarland, Hailey Davenport, Miles McCormick, Olivia, Ethan and Camden Shields; his great granddaughter, Kendall Jo McFarland; his brothers and sisters, Larry (Mary) Stivers, Susan Cochran, Tommy (Mary Masci) Stivers, and Cathy (Brian) Schreiner; his in-laws, Fred (Helen) Fuchs, Fred Jr. (Sue) Fuchs, Michael (Angie Decker) Fuchs, Beverly (Tom) Burton, Steve Fuchs, Donna (Jim) Williams, and Tammy (David) Melloan.
