Robert Brian Skaggs, 49, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022 at his home in Crestwood, Kentucky.

He was born on September 3, 1972 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Edward and Wilma (Napier) Skaggs. He is also preceded in death by his son Cory Skaggs and brothers Darryl Skaggs, Ronnie Skaggs, and Steve Skaggs.

Brian worked various jobs in the construction field. He also enjoyed carpentry and used these skills in many household projects. Because of his keen aptitude in car mechanics, Brian was often the go-to guy for both family and friends for vehicle maintenance and repair.

Brian is survived by his son Cody Skaggs; daughters Tiffany Skaggs and Rebecca Skaggs; brothers Eddie Skaggs, Timothy Skaggs and Brad Skaggs; sisters, Jane Burgin (Robert), Barbara Mudd (Sam), and Suzan Hensley Stokes (Jamie) as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243) with burial to follow at 3:00 pm at Magnolia Cemetery in Magnolia, Kentucky.

The family requests that contributions in Brian's memory be made to The American Cancer Society.
