Robert Simmons Sr.

Robert E. "Bobby" Simmons Sr., 72, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2013.

Bobby was born October 11, 1941 in Louisville to Nord and Mary Simmons. He was married to Carolyn Ann Taylor and 3 children were born to this union. He enjoyed watching and attending Cardinal basketball and football games, often traveling with the team. Bobby enjoyed cooking, especially chili. He was a kind and loving man. Bobby loved his dogs, Boo and Pete, and German Shepherds. He was known for "In the meantime and in-between time."

Besides his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by three brothers: Alan, Pity, and Joe Simmons; and an infant son Deray Simmons.

Bobby is survived by his sons: Charles, Robert Jr "Frog", and William Simmons; his daughter Andrea (Howard) Ralston; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters Noradine and Marsha; brothers Ralph, James, Kenneth, and Nord; and a host of other family members.

He was cremated according to his wishes. Bobby will be dearly missed by his family.
