Robert Loy Short, 68, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024.
He was born on February 4, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Loy and Lillian (Baron) Short. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Beverly McNutt Short, his cousin, Gary (Teresa) Baron and many friends he met along the way.
Bob attended the University of Louisville; where he received his B.S. Degree in Commerce in 1987, his Master's of Science in 1989 and his Master's of Arts in Teaching in 1998. He went on to teach at U of L, even being awarded the U of L Disability Awareness Award Faculty Member of the Year in 2001. After teaching at U of L he taught math at Sullivan University until his retirement in 2020. In Bob's free time he enjoyed watching movies, going to the beach with Beverly, being outdoors and watching U of L Basketball.
