Robert L. Reynolds "Bobby" , 85, of Brooks, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022 surrounded by his family.
He was born on July 11, 1936 in Louisville, Kentucky to Herbert and Edna (McGinty) Reynolds. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sue Reynolds, companion, Doris Weintjes, and three brothers, Ronnie, Jerry and Wayne Reynolds.
Robert served our country while enlisted in the United States Army. He then went on to raise his family and eventually retire as the Owner of Reynolds Body Shop. In his spare time he enjoyed watching NASCAR races and trips to the casinos. Robert leaves behind a strong legacy; he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Robert is survived by his loving family, son, Robert M. Reynolds, two daughters, Brenda Ann (Scott) Wilkerson, and Laura Lee (Michael) McDougal, grandchild, Elainah McDougal, siblings, Steve (Sandy) Reynolds and Beverly Ann Reynolds, along with several nieces and nephews.
At Robert's request, no services will be held.
Cancer research was something that has been important to Robert and his family, therefore, his family requests that contributions in Robert's memory be made to the American Cancer Society.
