Robert Ray Nance

Robert Ray Nance, 58, of Lanesville, Indiana passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014. He worked at Paramount Plywood for 28 years and was currently employed for the past 12 years at Restonic Mattress Company.

He was born on December 28, 1955 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Earl and Mona (Wate) Nance. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Charles "Butch" Nance; and mother-in-law, Shirley Barron.

Bob is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kathleen (Barron) Nance; children, David Nance (Jennifer), Krystal Nance; sisters, Janet Reed, Mona Vaughn; father-in-law, Richard Barron (Grace); brothers-in-law, Rick Barron (Wendy), Fred Schrauth; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 12 to 8 PM Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Thursday after 12 PM. His Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Elizabeth, Indiana.
