Robert Ray Puckett

Robert Ray "Bob" Puckett, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022. Bob was a loving and devoted husband and father. He had many hobbies including sailing, magic, karaoke, and especially playing pool. He could often be found at flea markets and peddlers malls adding to his collections. Bob will be remembered as humorous and quick-witted. He was an avid UK fan and loved tending to his yard work. Bob will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on January 26, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Nettie Puckett. He is preceded in death by his father, William Henry Puckett; mother, Nettie Puckett; and siblings, Nettie, Glenda, Dallas, Shirley, Patterson, and Jessie.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Helen Puckett; son, Bill Puckett; step-sons, Michael (Rhonda) Rankin and Robert Rankin; step-daughter, Debbie Rankin; grandchildren, Zachary (Jennifer) Rankin, Matthew Rankin, Hayden Rankin; great-granddaughter, Nancy Goodman; great-great grandchildren, Caleb Goodman and Melena Goodman; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A Memorial Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

The family requests that contributions in Bob's memory be made to the American Heart Association.
