Robert Pitts Sr., 64, of Louisville, KY passed away on February 20, 2014. Robert worked at GE for 17 years. He attended Baptized Pentecostal Church of Holiness.
Robert was born on May 24, 1949, in Louisville to the late Eugene and Barbara Pitts. He married Charlene Pitts in 1974 in Louisville.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Lisa Purham; son, Woodrow Barlow, daughter, Shalonda Pitts; son, Robert Pitts Jr.; daughter, LaTasha Sugg; sister, Elizabeth Moppins; brothers, Irvin Pitts and Raymond Pitts. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; companion, Frances Foster; a host of extended family and friends; and his dog, Abby.
Funeral Ceremony will be held Wednesday at 12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy) with visitation from 10am until time of service. Burial will follow in Green Meadows Memorial Park.
