Robert P. Skaggs (Bob), age 50 of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at his home. He graduated from Wagner High School and attended Sullivan University of Culinary Arts where he received his Master Chef Designation. He was an Executive Chef at Shariat's Restaurant and the Train Station. He was formerly employed at US Foods as territory manager and was currently working for Mattingly Foods of Louisville. With his wife Karen he enjoyed catering events for friends and family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, Clarence and Margaret Dillman.
Bob is survived by his loving wife and companion of 12 years, the former Karen Cinnamon; his children who he adored, Matthew, Whitney, Joshua and Hayden; his siblings, nieces, nephews, family members and many friends.
Mass of Celebration will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 5505 Bardstown Road with visitation there from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
