Robert E. Moore, 88, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. Robert was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the Fraternal Order of Freemasons.
He was born on May 18, 1933, in Sturgis, Michigan, to the late Charles and Mary (Smith) Moore. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty L. Moore; sister, Anita Sams; and daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Brad Grinnell.
Robert is survived by his son, Mark (Karyn) Moore; stepchildren, Melanie (David) James, Wayne (Susan) Huffman, Sarah Whitney, and Mike (Joy) Diehl; grandchildren, Patrick (Misty Holland) Lykens, Jillian (Tanner Jones) Lykens, and Ian (Amanda) Moore; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery (6805 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Anderson, IN 46013).
