Robert Lee Miller Sr.

Robert Lee Miller Sr. , 83, of Fairdale, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022.
He was born on January 18, 1939 in Louisville, Kentucky to Arthur and Martha (Spaulding) Miller. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Miller, sisters, Ann Miller, Martha Jo Johnson and Lula Belle Patterson and his brother, Frank Miller.
Robert proudly served our country in the U.S Army and retired from P&L Railroad. He has been a long time member of the Parkland Masonic Lodge and the NRA. Robert will be remembered by a lot of people; but most importantly he will be remembered for being a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother, who could fix anything.
Robert is survived by his loving sons, Robert Miller, Jr., Fredrick (Cindy) Miller, Kevin (Paula) Miller, Sr., and Donnie (Malia) Miller, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, siblings, William Miller, George Miller, Dee (Jim) Bennett, Mary (Harold) Remsburg and Georgia (Jimmy) Heath.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Monday, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
The family requests that contributions in Robert 's memory be made to the Alzheimer's and Dementia Association or the American Diabetes Association.
