Robert Lewis Mccoy

Robert Lewis McCoy, 76, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. Robert was an avid outdoorsman and dedicated to providing for his family. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and landscaping at his home. Bob loved going to watch his grandchildren's athletic events. Above all, he always made sure people were taken care of.

He was born on June 12, 1947, in New Albany, Indiana, to William and Dorothy (Pellman) McCoy. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Billy McCoy and Larry McCoy.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Heather (Brian) Perry; son, Craig (Tina) McCoy; son, Dwayne (Beth) McCoy; grandchildren, Jalen, Brook, Kyla, Abbey, Carson, Avery, and Duke; great-grandchildren, Maeva and Mack; his spouse of 30 years, Darlene McCoy; brothers, Harry (Nancy) McCoy and Richard (Leann) McCoy; and many other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 23, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Memorial Service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, at the funeral home.

Bob's family would like to thank St. Croix Hospice for their excellent care and compassion during his time with them.
