Robert Elliott McCormick, 59, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017.
Robert is survived by his son, Daniel McCormick; grandsons, Ethan McCormick and Jalen Hardcastle; parents, Elliott and Genevieve McCormick; siblings, Marcella Stevenson, Donald McCormick (Jean), Ronald Poynter, Ronald "Little Ron" McCormick (Patina); and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Robert was born on September 26, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his son, Troy McCormick, biological mother, Pauline McCormick and brother-in-law, Harold Stevenson.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40247), followed by a celebration of his life to start at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Memory Gardens in Leitchfield, Kentucky.
