Robert Lester Gaskins, Jr.

Robert Lester Gaskins, Jr., age 79 of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013. He graduated from Lincoln Institute in Simpsonville and was a member of Epiphany Catholic Church. He retired from General Electric. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert L. and Annie Bell Bean Gaskins; sister, Agnes Gaskins Sims.

Robert is survived by nieces, Pamela D. Sims and Linda Diane Sims (Stephen Hall); grand-nieces, Camela Jones, Dziwonm Keita, Chinyere Keita; great-grand-nephew, Sedaya Keita; also a host of family and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be 6pm Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with visitation there from 3pm until time of service. Burial will be Noon Wednesday, January 30 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky with military honors.
