Ford, Robert Lee "Bobby", 65, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on May 9, 2016. He retired from LG&E and was a member of Dover Chapel General Baptist Church. Bobby served in the Army, during the Vietnam War.
Bobby was an avid UK fan and he enjoyed playing softball in his spare time.
He was born on March 2, 1951, in Hartford, Kentucky.
He is survived by his children, Jackie Brames (Adam), Grant Ford (Ashlea), Shana Merideth (Josh), Amy Ford; parents, Harry & Jean Ford; loving companion, Pam Knoop; siblings, Tom Ford (Norma) and Lisa Marcum (Larry); grandchildren, Bella Merideth, Emma Merideth and Bo Brames; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). A funeral service to honor the life of Bobby will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Greenville Cemetery in Greenville, Indiana.
In loving memory of Bobby, memorial donations may be made to Angels in Disguise.
