Robert L."Bob" Jackson

Robert L. "Bob" Jackson, 73, of Louisville, KY, passed away January 17, 2013. Bob was born in Louisville on September 8, 1939 to the late Minor and Rose Jackson. Bob spent most of his career as Maintenance Supervisor for various real estate properties. In his later years, Bob was an owner/operator of Ken & Bob's Tavern.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle "Turtle" Jackson; Joyce Ann Lindquist and Dorothy Mae Dempster.

Bob is survived by his children; Dale Jackson, David Lee Jackson, Kathy Sue Wilbert, Anita Carol Jackson, and Teresa Lynn Jackson; brother, Ronald Jackson; and sisters, Mary Jane Frazier and Marie Blakeman. Bob also had many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.

Bob's visitation will be held from 3pm to 7pm on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY. Funeral service will be at 10am on Monday, January 21, 2013 at the funeral home with burial at Brookland Cemetery in Shepherdsville, KY.
