Robert J. Krause, 88, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.
He was born on December 23, 1935 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to David and Lydia Krause. Robert was a 1958 graduate of Carroll University. He worked as a Controller for Sears for 32 years.
He is preceded in death by his father, David Krause; mother, Lydia Krause; and sister, Ruth M. Krause.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Karen Krause; son, Scott (Kim) Krause; daughter, Wendy (Peter) Freix; step-son, Thomas Campbell; step-daughter, Julie Campbell Neumann; grandchildren, Jenna (Jordan) Stine, Jordan (Morgan) Krause, Jamie (Fred) Gromalak, Justin (Amy) Krause, and Jessica (Matthew) Schultz; step-grandchildren, Patrick (Melissa) Campbell, Benjamin (Amanda Fitzgerald) Campbell, Sarah (Jeremey) Chaney, and Keith (Angelina) Neumann; 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Newcomer, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY). His Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 pm that day at the funeral home.
