Robert Harold Brown

Robert Harold Brown, 91, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014. He was a United States Air Force veteran that proudly served his country during WWII and he was a life-time member of the American Legion Post Gillien Post in Bedford, Indiana. Bob was the former Chairman of the Board and President of Mutual Trust Bank. He also was the former Treasurer for the NAFC School Building Corporation.

Bob was born on January 8, 1923 in Vincennes, Indiana to the late Leo and Lela (McGiffin) Brown. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Broglin) Brown, and son, Reese Brown.

He is survived by his children, Rhett Brown (Donna), Lisa Brown; grandsons, Logan Virgil Robert Dils, Reese Ryan Brown; and great-granddaughter, Heidi Brown.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be on Friday at 10 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Bedford, Indiana.
