Robert Kent "Robby" Hahn (74) passed away at home in Louisville, KY on May 23rd, 2023.
He was born in Evansville, Indiana on November 2nd, 1948 to Kenneth and Dorothy "Dotsy" Hahn. He is preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother, Randy Hahn.
An avid sports fan, Robby attended North High School in Evansville where he played baseball and football, then attended Indiana University where he pitched for the baseball team. He loved playing golf with his friends at Old State CC and Oak Meadow CC then meeting friends and family at the Highland Inn.
He owned and operated Evansville Valve & Fitting then moved his family to Louisville, KY in 1993 to open Louisville Valve & Fitting.
Rob loved his family fiercely. He leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Debbie (Rueger), and two sons, Camron (Emily) and Cory (Christina) as well as six grandchildren, Callan (14), Carson (13), Owen (11), Harper (9), Maven (6) and Miller (4), who were his true pride and joy; a sister, Sherry Hahn, and many nieces and nephews.
Robby will be forever remembered for his charm, quick wit and a smile that could light up a room.
The family will host a Celebration of Life on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Newcomer, Cremation, Funerals & Receptions East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).
Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the Lewy Body Dementia Association (LBDA) (912 Killian Hill Road S.W., Lilburn, GA 30047).
